Since June 2024, we’ve all agreed to add an event calendar to our magazines. In most if not all markets, our monthly event calendars are the only calendars out there.

Don’t See an Event You Want to Feature?

Add it manually. Publishers are responsible for adding events if the City Spark crawler is not picking them up. This takes under five minutes and can be done anytime.

Alternatively, you can send a link to the event host and ask them to submit it for you. Once submitted, you’ll get an email notification of the submission and you can “promote” the event for them at no additional cost.

How Many Events Should I Pick?

For publication:

One page - At least 10 events - 5 images

Two Pages - At least 20 events - 10 images

For email, remember your space is minimal and your selections will likely be whittled down to a maximum of five (5) to avoid driving down the click-through rate.
