All editorial content that is to be placed in a publication must have a content ticket created in Ad Sales Genius. The following instructions detail how this process is completed.

Creating a Content Ticket
- In ASG go to Delivery > Content > + New Content
- A new “Untitled Content” ticket will appear on screen.
- Click “Edit” to complete the Details section of the ticket.
You must provide the following information:
- Title of story
- Description – not shown to freelancers, for internal use only
- Pages - The number of pages entered here will be what is available in your flat plan for placement.
- Due Date – not shown to freelancers, for internal use only
- Assigned To – Always assign content tickets to yourself this will allow you to receive notifications when a freelancer accepts or declines an assignment.
- Client Proof Required – This should be “yes” for all paid stories. If there is nothing selected, then we default to “no” proof required.
- Story Type - not shown to freelancers, for internal use only
- Advertiser – If the story involves an Account in Ad Sales Genius or is a paid story, enter their name here. This merely connects the content to the Account record for future reference.
- Insertion - If the content is associated with a paid Business Spotlight, select it here in the drop down.
- Product – Magazine you wish to have this content ticket appear in. If you have multiple magazines it will appear in, just select the “main” one, you’ll need to create placeholder tickets for the others.
- Issue – Issue of Magazine you wish to have this content ticket appear in.
Click “Update” once all information is entered.
